What is the maximum attendance?

50 guest max. We are considered a micro wedding venue providing a spectacular setting for a couple to share their love with family and friends. Also, you can tell that cousin you don’t like and your co-workers, “Sorry, the venue has a max!”

How far in advance can we secure our date?

Wedding dates can be reserved up to 24 months in advance. We will hold your date for 5 days following a property tour.

Will our wedding be the only event on our date or do you host multiple weddings?

We host one wedding per day (with a goal of one per weekend) to ensure each event is our priority.

What is the required deposit and payment schedule?

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining 50% non-refundable balance and $750 refundable security deposit are due 90 days prior to your event.

Do we need to hire a wedding coordinator?

We are a micro wedding ceremony venue with a max guest limit of 50. While a wedding planner or day of coordinator can help make your day extra special, we do not require one.

What are the rentable hours?

Your rental period is five hours which includes setup and clean up. Rentals may begin as early as 10 a.m and must conclude by sunset and all guest must depart the property 30 minutes prior to dark.

Can we choose our own vendors?

Yes! We have a list of preferred vendors that we trust and that know our property well. However, we welcome all outside vendors that are licensed and insured.

Do I need event insurance?

All events are required to secure daily event insurance with Cecil Oaks Estate listed as additionally insured. We recommend visiting www.eventhelper.com

Is onsite parking available?

We can accommodate up to 15 cars. The parking lot can be a significant walk to the ceremony site for some. We recommend your guest arrive in a shuttle that can drive the guest directly to the welcome terrace and ceremony site.

Are there any noise restrictions?

Yes. Our property is on the ridge of a valley which creates the spectacular views, but sound also carries through the valley. We do not allow amplified sound and ask our guest to respect the peace and tranquility of our country setting and neighbors.

Can we use real candles in our decor?

No. For the safety of all guests and our grassy area, the use of any candles or fire is strictly prohibited.
